These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of 4Mica's website, APIs, SDKs, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The service
4Mica provides software and infrastructure for credit-backed payments: agents and services spend against pooled collateral using signed guarantees, and balances settle on-chain in batches. We provide tools to interact with blockchain networks; we are not a bank, custodian, broker, or money transmitter, and we do not provide financial, legal, or tax advice.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract and must not be barred from using the Service under applicable law or sanctions. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws that apply to you and your customers.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for your wallets, private keys, credentials, and any transaction or approval you authorize. You must keep them secure. We cannot reverse blockchain transactions or recover lost keys.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Break the law or facilitate illegal activity.
- Operate a business prohibited by our Restricted and prohibited businesses policy.
- Infringe intellectual-property or other rights.
- Interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Service or its security.
- Misrepresent your identity or evade fees, limits, or controls.
Fees and settlement
Fees for the Service, if any, will be described at the point of use or in a separate agreement. You are responsible for network (gas) costs and for the collateral that backs your activity. Settlement is enforced on the underlying blockchain, and on-chain transactions are final.
Blockchain and digital assets
Blockchain networks are decentralized and outside our control. You acknowledge the risks of digital assets, including volatility, network congestion, forks, smart-contract vulnerabilities, and total loss. You are solely responsible for evaluating those risks before transacting.
Third-party services
The Service may integrate with third-party networks, protocols, and providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, content, and trademarks, is owned by 4Mica or its licensors. Open-source components are governed by their own licenses. Except for rights expressly granted, no rights are transferred to you.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 4Mica will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or digital assets, arising from your use of the Service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold 4Mica harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
